The Rifton Advancement Chair is a modular seating system that promotes functional sitting for individuals with physical or neurological disabilities. This chair provides total support for people with little motor control or muscular strength. As sitting skills and strength are gained, this modular chair can be configured for decreased support. Adjustable arm prompts accommodate variable positioning, and assist in supporting posture for users that are unable to hold themselves upright for periods of time. The chair comes with a padded seat that adjusts in seat height, seat depth, and seat tilt, with an option of spring action. The adjustable backrest moves through a 15-degree range, from front-leaning to back-leaning. A center-mounted seat strap stabilizes the pelvis.
Model R901 is small and is designed for children 34 to 46 inches tall, model R902 is medium and is designed for children 42 to 55 inches tall, and model R903 is large and is designed for children and adults 53 to 72 inches tall. DIMENSIONS: Model R901 has a seat height from the floor of 8.5 to 11.5 inches; the backrest height is 15 inches; the seat depth adjusts from 8 to 10 inches; and the seat width is 11 inches. Model R902 has a seat height from the floor of 11.5 to 15.5 inches; the backrest height is 18 inches; and the seat depth adjusts from 10.5 inches to 14 inches; the seat width is 13 inches. Model R903 has a seat height from the floor of 15 to 18.5 inches; the backrest height is 24 inches; the seat depth is 15 to 20 inches; the seat width is 16 inches.
